OLIVE GARDEN IN DALLAS DENIES CUSTOMER UNLIMITED BREADSTICKS, KICKS HIM OUT WITHOUT PAYING

One of the most famous and enjoyable dining experiences you can have in the United States is at the Olive Garden. Their commitment to providing paying customers with an unlimited amount of soup, salad, and breadsticks has made many people fall in love with the restaurant chain. Unfortunately, not all outlets of the Olive Garden seem to be abiding by this policy. At least that was the case when Alex Stein visited the Olive Garden branch on Technology Blvd in Dallas, Texas.

Just like most other people that visit the Olive Garden, Alex was keen to enjoy the endless supply of breadsticks provided by the restaurant. He ordered a meal that included the unlimited supply of breadsticks, soup, and salad but what he was delivered was a complete embarrassment. After getting his bowl of breadsticks, he put them into his pocket to allow him to smash them down into smaller pieces so he could digest the breadsticks much easier. Unfortunately for him though, the employees of the Olive Garden in Dallas did not see it this way and thought he was trying to keep the breadsticks in his pocket, ask for more, and then smuggle them out. According to Olive Garden, you can have an endless supply of breadsticks while you’re in the restaurant and are not allowed to take pieces of the unlimited breadsticks out of the building. Alex was abiding by these rules as he was well aware of the Olive Garden’s rules and regulations.

After explaining to the restaurant’s employees that he was not trying to smuggle food home with his bag, he was kicked out of the Olive Garden. The manager, who goes by the name of Terry, asked Alex to leave without even letting him pay for his food. That was not Alex’s first time at the garden, so you can imagine his shock when he was kicked out of the restaurant for doing absolutely nothing wrong. It is quite unbecoming that such a well-established restaurant chain like the Olive Garden could go back on their policy, and in such a big town like Dallas.

It is unclear at the moment whether Mr. Stein would be seeking legal reparations, but he definitely wants to bring awareness about this to the court of public opinion. There might be many other people who have experienced this same problem at any of the Olive Garden outlets, and we’d love to hear from you. All we want to know is whether the Olive Garden is going back on a policy that made them one of the biggest and best restaurant chains in the United States of America.
